In 2011, DCDC expanded our reach with the opening of a satellite school-age site at 1459 Bloom Road. This growth allowed us to increase preschool access, introduce our My Toddler & Me classes, host a community playgroup, and engage with local initiatives such as Danville’s Community Garden, which gives children hands-on learning opportunities while fostering community connection.

These additions also marked a deepened commitment to family engagement, creating more spaces where parents and caregivers can actively participate in their child’s early learning journey and connect with other families in meaningful ways.

A large white building with a metal roof and blue cupolas, set in a green rural landscape with hills and trees in the background. There is an empty parking lot and some outdoor equipment nearby.
A group of people sitting at a table inside a restaurant. There are three children and one adult visible. The children are engaged in some activity with small objects and paper. The adult is sitting with his arms crossed, wearing a black t-shirt and a green cap with an 'S' on it. There are smartphones and a small container on the table. Outside the window, a grassy area and outdoor balcony are visible.
